Manufacturing Process

Planning and Design Project

Considering what the hair stylist really needs, we are producing the TOGIYA products.and with the use of CAD software technology, we can visualize the idea of the market with the use of CAD software technology, we can visualize the idea of the market

Material

We use only the stainless plate which is best for hairdressing scissors, and this is the material requested by the stylist. Please refer to the material list for the material for each model.

Pressing

First, we form the shape of eaach model from the stainless plate through the processing.

Forging

Secondly, the forging process will maximize the quality of each stainless material.

Heat Treatment

Thirdly, we heat up the temperature to 1000 degrees centigrade in the vacuum furnace,then cool down the temperature to under 0 degrees centigrade by the use of the liquefied gas. This process will make the best condition for scissors.

Grinding Process

Using CNC(Computer Numerical Value Control) machine, we move to another process with both of the scissors blades.

Polishing

Adjusting the subtle distortion of the blades after the grinding process, TOGIYA craftsman polish them one by one by hand.

Putting an Edge on the Blade

TOGIYA uses several kinds of sharpening stones depending on the successor’ s condition, then TOGIYA craftmen carefully put an edge on the blade.

Finishing Touches and Adjustment

Skillful TOGIYA craftsman work with a hammer and adjust the condition of the inside blade and the outside blade.

The Final Inspection

TOGIYA technical specialists check the edge of the blade and condition of the scissors one by one.

Packing and Shipping

The scissors will be packed in a special box which will prevent unexpected damage in shipment.
